When and where did you begin this sport?
She was an active shooter for much of the 1980s. She took up shooting Para sport in 2014.
Why this sport?
She came across a magazine about the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro while she was rehabilitating from her accident in hospital. "I was newly injured and life had been turned upside down. You have to learn to do everything yourself. It is not an easy road. It has been work, work, work."

Impairment
In August 2013 she was involved in a skydiving accident, which resulted in paraplegia. She was discharged from hospital in December that year. "It cannot be described. It was amazing the pain I felt, almost as if someone had killed me. My body was in shock. I have given birth to four children, but that was nothing in relation to this."
