check your medications for prohibited substances
The IPC''s Medication Check uses the Global Drug Reference Online (Global DRO) platform to provide athletes and support personnel with information about the status of specific medications based on the current World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List.
Too many athletes test positive because they used a medication to treat a genuine health concern, without first checking its ingredients. Based on the principle of strict liability, athletes are responsible for any prohibited substances found in their doping control sample - regardless of whether they intended to dope or not.

How to use this Medication Check
check your medication by brand
If you purchased your medication in a Global DRO member country, i.e., Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland, Japan, Australia or New Zealand you can check medication using either the brand name or each ingredient.

check your medication by ingredients
If you purchased your medication in a country that is not a Global DRO member country, then you must check your medication by each ingredient.
IMPORTANT: Medication with the same brand name but produced in different countries may contain different ingredients. For this reason, it is important that each active ingredient is searched for all medication purchased outside of the seven Global DRO member countries.
