In 2017 he became a member of the Proud Paralympian programme team that staged workshops at the 2017 Youth Parapan American Games in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The scheme, which is an International Paralympic Committee [IPC] initiative, aims to give Para athletes the tools they need to give their best on and off the field. He contributed as a coach and advisor.
