When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para athletics in 1997 in Jamoigne, Belgium. He began competing in 2000.
Why this sport?
"When I was a child I could not ride a bike because I was unable to pedal, so to follow my friends I ran. In school, we had two hours of sport per week. The boys played football and I ran. One day the teacher organised a race and nobody was able to beat me."
