When and where did you begin this sport?
She first tried skiing at age 10 but did not take up the sport until 2007.
Why this sport?
She did not enjoy skiing when she first tried it as a child because she preferred doing things where it was warm. A friend bought her some new ski equipment in 2007, so she decided to give the sport another try. After the operations following her illness she wanted to continue taking part in sport. She had a chance meeting with some adaptive skiers and decided to pursue it.
