When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up swimming in Inverurie, Scotland, in 2007, at the Garioch Gators Swimming Club.
Why this sport?
He took up swimming for fun, and slowly realised he had a talent for it. "I said to a couple of my mates I would try swimming out just for a bit of fun. I didn't realise I would get this far in my career."
