He took up Para athletics in 2017.
Why this sport?
He began lifting weights in 2013 to help improve his self-confidence, before switching first to cross country running and then Para athletics. "Although the sport posed physical difficulties early on, I gave each race my best effort. I knew I wasn't going to be the fastest one out there. So I did my best to focus on what I could control."
