She began swimming in 2012 at age nine in Taganrog, Russian Federation.
Why this sport?
"After the 2012 Paralympic Games, I saw a medal from those Games that was won by an athlete of my future coach. To win a medal at the Paralympic Games then became my dream and I am now trying to bring that to life."
