Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
She began practising middle distance running at age 10 in Bangor, Northern Ireland. She later switched to sprinting.
Why this sport?
She was inspired after watching middle distance runner Michael McKillop win two gold medals at the 2012 Paralympic Games. "A few of my friends went training with North Down Athletic Club and I thought I would join them. I found it really difficult at first because I was training alongside able-bodied athletes. But then I saw Michael McKillop, a local athlete who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, just like me. He took two golds at London 2012 , which I thought was amazing and inspired me to want to do the same, so I kept going for it."
