FOUNDATION
His amputation was performed at the Benjamin Bloom's Children Hospital in San Salvador, El Salvador. Some time later he set up a foundation to fund donations to patients at the hospital after he was inspired by an 11-year-old girl named Daniela Guardado, who organised new bedding for the hospital. "I came up with the idea to create a foundation to help Bloom Hospital. I look for support from people around me. It is called 'Construyendo Sonrisas' [Creating Smiles]. I set it up but it was inspired by Daniela." (elmetropolitanodigital.com, 16 Dec 2018)
