When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up the sport in 2002 in Balikpapan, Indonesia. He began swimming competitively at the 2006 Provincial Paralympic Week in Samarinda, Indonesia.
Why this sport?
He lived near a river and used to swim in it. After the accident, he decided to take his swimming skills further. "At first I didn't believe it, I mean I really could swim faster with one arm. It motivated me to keep on practising."
