FUNDING SUPPORT
In 2018 he received a Petro-Canada FACE [Fuelling Athlete and Coaching Excellence] funding grant. The grants are awarded to athletes hoping to represent Canada at the Paralympic Games but lack government funding. "Programs like FACE are excellent for us. There is a gap between national excellence and international excellence, so this programme is there to show us support and to say that we're on a good path to achieve our dreams. These bursaries help us a lot." (globalnews.ca, 12 Mar 2018; petro-canada.ca, 01 Jan 2018)
