He began skiing at age three. He took up Para alpine skiing in 2016.
Why this sport?
His parents introduced him to skiing. He competed in giant slalom until age 10 and then began to pursue Para athletics. He returned to Para alpine skiing after he was inspired by watching the alpine skiing competition at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi. "I saw the skiers and their guides going down and I told myself it was awesome, that I had to get into it. I felt the need to go back to basics and to have new ambitions in a sport I did throughout my childhood."
