She began swimming in 2007, and took up Para swimming in 2013 at Kerpape Rehabilitation Centre in Ploemeur, France.
Why this sport?
"I took up Para swimming as I really enjoyed sports. My doctors said it would be the best option with my impairment."

She is studying biology and biochemistry at St. Catherine University in the United States of America with the intention of graduating in 2022 and then going on to study medicine to become a surgeon.
