When and where did you begin this sport?
He got back into sport while rehabilitating from his injuries. He was able to continue serving with the French army after recovering, having converted into a sports coach within his battalion.
Why this sport?
He was inspired by watching French shooting Para sport athlete Cedric Fevre compete at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.

Impairment
In 2011, while serving with the mountain infantry [Chasseurs Alpins] of the French army in the Alasay Valley of Afghanistan, he stepped on an antipersonnel mine and lost his lower right leg.
