When and where did you begin this sport?
He became involved in Para athletics in 2010.
Why this sport?
After going to hospital with pneumonia in November 2009, he concluded that he was partying too much and it was threatening his sporting abilities. Dutch chef de mission Andre Cats suggested that he could take up athletics, table tennis or skiing. He chose athletics because he felt that was the best sport for him.

Impairment
