When and where did you begin this sport?
He first tried skiing as a young child at Mount Hutt in New Zealand, and later began racing with his school team at Snowplanet in Auckland and at Mount Ruapehu.
Why this sport?
He met New Zealand Para skiers Adam Hall and Corey Peters, which inspired him to try the sport. '"I started skiing when I was pretty young. Then there was this 'Have-a-Go Day' at Snowplanet and I met a few of the guys [New Zealand Para ski team] there."
