When and where did you begin this sport?
She took part in her first track meet at age 14.
Why this sport?
A physical education coach encouraged her to take up running. "When I run I feel free and no one can take that away from me. When I am running I am just Kaitlin, not the girl with autism, not the girl who is different, I am just a runner, and I am happy."
Training Regime
She runs 10 miles each day during the week and 15 miles on weekends.
