When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para powerlifting in February 2015 in Singapore.
Why this sport?
His friend Raja Singh, who was vice-president of the Singapore Disability Sports Council, recommended the sport to him to ensure local representation at the 2015 ASEAN Para Games in Singapore. "Because we were hosting the event [2015 ASEAN Para Games in Singapore], and we did not have an athlete [to compete in Para powerlifting], I thought I would do my part. I am a Singaporean, I am fit, and I am fairly strong so I took part."
