LIFE AFTER STROKE
She has discussed the changes to her life following the stroke she suffered at age 25. "The stroke took away my self-containment and a lot of things, including music. My friends joked that I was living in a musical because I walked and sung, went to many concerts, played piano and guitar, but now music makes me tired. I'm even tired when I listen to the radio. It took away Warsaw, I studied and had friends there, but now it's no longer my city because I came back to my hometown of Szczecin. On the other hand, every year on my stroke's anniversary I write a note on my blog about what has changed for the better. I've learnt many things, including learning Spanish and crochet!"
