When and where did you begin this sport?
She first tried Para athletics at age 16 at a talent identification scheme at the National Sports Centre in Papendal, Netherlands. She then joined the Nijmegen Atletiek club.
Why this sport?
She tried ballet, gymnastics, and handball in her youth before choosing to pursue Para athletics. "The sport is really fun. I like that I'm working every day to get the most out of myself, and meeting beautiful people from around the world."

I can live closer to Papendal [Netherlands], do more competitions and live a 'quieter' life. This gives me the peace and energy that I can put back into my training.
