Sport specific information
When and where did you begin this sport?
She was involved in swimming until 2013 when she tried wheelchair racing at an event in France that aims to introduce young people with impairments to Para sports. "I tried wheelchair basketball too, but when I saw a chance to try a racing chair, I signed up and enjoyed it straight away." Her first coach was French Para athlete Denis Lemeunier.
Why this sport?
"My mother did trail running and my sister does karate, so I too naturally wanted to do a sport. It helps me exercise, both physically and mentally. It allows me to channel my energy, and helps me to forget everything else. It's good for me."
