Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para athletics at age 45 in 2019 in Genoa, Italy.
Why this sport?
He practised discus throwing before his accident and used athletics as part of his rehabilitation. "I have always done physical activity, sport is a fundamental part of my life. I got my first prosthesis in February 2017, I had to re-learn to walk and during rehabilitation it helped my stubbornness in going even when I felt pain, an intrinsic concept in those who play sports. It is a sort of predisposition to grit teeth when things go wrong, and especially in the hospital it was really hard."
