Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
He got involved in athletics in 2014 in Nottwil, Switzerland.
Why this sport?
He was inspired to take up the sport after watching Austrian wheelchair racer Thomas Geierspichler competing in the marathon on TV at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing. "[I thought] he is in a wheelchair and he can do such amazing things. I want that to do that too." He was also attracted to the sport because of the wide range of skills required. "I like that this sport is very multifaceted. On the one hand, conditional skills such as strength, endurance and speed are of great importance. On the other hand, technology and a tactical understanding are prerequisites in order to be successful."
