"I gave 210% every day. Besides training in the pool I went to the gym, I ran and practised yoga. I did thousands of things to reach a good physical level. 'Was it worth it, everything I did? Maybe I am not fit for this. I should have stayed in school'. I had all those things in my head. [But in the end] it helped me to find myself, that person who used to love swimming and enjoy every moment." (guadalajara.gob.mx, 14 Feb 2018)
