He got involved in sport following the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
Why this sport?
He was inspired by Great Britain's success at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, so his mother took him to a Cerebral Palsy Sport athletics days, where he discovered RaceRunning. "I knew I had found the sport I could really compete at."

Awards and honours
He received the Inspirational Youngster Award at the 2015 Derby Telegraph Community Champions Awards in England. It was in recognition of him being a member of a five-person team that took it in turns to ride a rickshaw from Manchester, England, to London, England.
