Japan’s Akira Kano is a veteran on the alpine skiing international scene, having won three golds and one bronze over three Paralympic Winter Games between 2006 and 2014.

He enjoyed his best Paralympic performance three years ago in Sochi, Russia, reaching the top of the podium in both the men’s downhill and super-G sitting. And he is showing no signs of slowing down, with less than six months to go until PyeongChang 2018.

1) Super narrow time-differences between athletes

2) All athletes will be very heated up since the last Games

3) Great success of Japanese Team
