The Americas Paralympic Committee (APC) will hold its 12th General Assembly in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Friday (18 October) to coincide with the Youth Parapan American Games which are also being held in the city.

On the agenda for the day-long meeting is an update on behalf of the APC Executive Committee from APC President Octavio Londoño about activities in the Americas, whilst progress reports regarding the Santiago de Chile 2014 Para South American Games, Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games and Rio 2016 Paralympic Games will also be given.

Members will also be invited to adopt the minutes from the 11th APC General Assembly held in Guadalajara, Mexico inNovember 2011.

During the afternoon session elections will also take place, with members in the Americas invited to elect one President, one Vice President and three Members at Large to the APC Executive Committee. A total of seven nominations for six candidates – three for President, one for Vice President and three for Members at Large - have been accepted for the elections.

The nominees for all roles, listed in alphabetical order, are as follows (Nationality and nominating body in brackets)
