Central American Para Games open on Friday

The first Central American Para Games will get underway on Friday (12 April) in Costa Rica with 250 athletes from six countries competing in five sports.

Taking place in San Jose athletes from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and host nation Costa Rica will go head-to-head in athletics, goalball, powerlifting, swimming and wheelchair basketball.

The event will run through until Saturday 20 April.
