Downhill and Team Competition End World Champs
01 Mar 2009 By IPCAfter two days of training, the Downhill event of the 2009 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships in High 1 Resort, Korea, took place on 28 February.
The following athletes showed strong performances and won medals:

On 1 March, the last event of the World Championships, the Team competition, saw Germany with Andrea Rothfuss, Martin Braxenthaler and Ralf Frummet winning the gold medal in a total time of 7:20.36 minutes. Austria (Danja Haslacher, Harald Eder and Hubert Mandl) followed in second place, just a few seconds before team Switzerland (Karin Fasel, Thomas Pfyl and Michael Brugger).
