The ski season is nearly upon us again, beginning with the International Paralympic Committee alpine slalom World Cup on 22-23 August which is now open for athlete registration.

The competition in Coronet Peak, New Zealand, forms part of a wider event programme within Winter Games New Zealand which will also feature able-bodied competitions in curling, free-ski and snowboarding.

As well as slalom, para-snowboard cross events will also take place on 19 and 20 August in the Cardrona Alpine Resort, New Zealand.

These events are part of the third edition of the Winter Games New Zealand, an international biennial winter sports event based in Otago.
