The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of France has announced an additional 29 athletes who will compete in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games in September.

A number of the recently announced athletes will get to improve on their medal finishes from the London 2012 Paralympic Games. Rowers Perle Bouge and Stephane Tardieu will make their second straight Paralympic appearance with the chance of bettering their silver medal from London.

Two-time London silver medallist Arnaud Assoumani will also be in the hunt for gold in athletics. His teammate Julien Casoli left with Paralympic bronze in the men’s 5,000m T54 but is seeking a higher podium finish in Rio.
