IWAS World Games Set to Begin in Sharjah

The IWAS World Games in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, are set to begin Thursday (1 December) and will attract 550 athletes from 49 countries.

The Opening Ceremony will kick off the event Thursday, and will be proceeded by competition across nine different sports: Athletics, Powerlifting, Para-Table Tennis, Shooting, Para-Badminton, Swimming, Amputee Football, Race Running and Sitting Volleyball.
