There will be nearly 600 athletes from 45 countries competing at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games from 7-16 March.

The Spanish Paralympic Committee has announced the seven athletes and two guides who will represent Spain at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games from 7-16 March, which is headlined by Paralympic and world champion alpine skier Jon Santacana Maiztegui.

The visually impaired star won all three of Spain’s medals at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics, picking up a gold and two silvers.
