Women’s 206 Continental Clash

Five of the top women’s wheelchair basketball teams will face off before they meet again in September’s Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Host and 2015 European bronze medallists Great Britain will battle against London 2012 gold medallists Germany, 2014 world champions Canada, the Netherlands and France.

Tip-off begins Monday (1 August) until Thursday (4 August) at the University of Worchester Arena.

Indonesia Para Badminton International 2016

The third edition of this event will take place between 2-7 August. More information can be found on the Badminton World Federation’s website.

International Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport (ICSEMIS)

Sao Paulo, Brazil, will host the event from 31 August-4 September, just a few days prior to the Opening Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. The ICSEMIS 2016 involves the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE), the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS). A total of 2,000 participants from various fields such as sport and sport science, physical education and sports medicine will take part in the event.
