Ned Boulting, a reporter from Great Britain, recently paid a visit to Iran while writing about the Paralympic Movement and its impact around the world.

In Iran, he interviewed Paralympic and world champion archer Zahra Nemati, who has been instrumental in the Movement in Iran and has served as a role model for Muslims and women everywhere.

He also watched Iran’s sitting volleyball team – silver medallists at the London 2012 Paralympics – compete in the Asian Sitting Volleyball Championships in the city of Mashhad.

Following the competition, he ventured to Tehran to interview top officials in the Movement in Iran ,and on 26 April he visited NPC Iran to have an extended meeting with Secretary General Amir Mandegarfard. Boulting was given an unabridged explanation about the history of establishing para-sports in Iran and was able to view clips from the country’s National Paralympic Day.
