Pajulahti 2017 launches second video

The Finnish Sports Association of Persons with Disabilities launched the second video of a series aimed at raising awareness of goalball ahead of the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) 2017 Goalball European Championships, set to take place in Lahti, Finland, from 18-22 September.

The second video shows the Finnish men’s goalball team at a training camp with a song in the background performed by metal band ‘Free Heart,’ where London 2012 goalball gold medallist Erkki Miinala plays the drums.

In the first video, Miinala showcases the action-packed world of goalball.

Another three videos will be published before the start of the European Championships, whilst the last will be released once the event is over.

Apart from hosts Finland, Belgium, Great Britain, Ukraine, Sweden, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, Lithuania and Turkey will face-off in the men’s side.

Ukraine, Great Britain, Greece, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Russia and Turkey will compete in the women’s tournament.
