Para-Archers Take Aim in Thailand

Over 40 archers from Canada, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Russia and Thailand are set to compete in the Para-Archery World Ranking event from 14-17 March in Bangkok, Thailand.

Events include: Men’s Recurve W1/W2, Men’s Recurve Standing, Women’s Recurve W1/W2, Women’s Recurve Standing, Men’s Compound Open and Women’s Compound Open. There will also be three team events: Men’s Team Recurve Open, Mixed Team Recurve and Mixed Team Compound.

For some of the archers competing, this will be the last major competition before the London 2012 Paralympic Games. Para-Archery events take place at the Royal Artillery Barracks from 30 August to 5 September.
