PyeongChang 2018 commemorative stamps launched

Korea Post has begun selling commemorative stamps for the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games. A total of total of 800,000 copies of ten stamps with Winter Paralympics mascot Bandabi, an Asian black bear, doing Para alpine skiing, Para biathlon, Para cross-country skiing, Para ice hockey and Para snowboard will be sold.

The stamps are available at 220 major post offices across South Korea and at the Korea Post website www.epost.go.kr. Each one costs USD 0.31.

Kang Seong-ju, Korea Post Head, said: “We hope the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games can serve as an occasion to make the whole world one, regardless of race, region and impairment.”

The Paralympic Winter Games take place in PyeongChang, South Korea from 9-18 March. Tickets can be purchased here.
