More than 300 hours of coverage will be available over the six Paralympic sports

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has announced that all sporting action from the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games held 9-18 March will be streamed live on Paralympic.org using an Olympic Channel player.

More than 300 hours of coverage will be available over the six Paralympic sports, including individual matches from Para ice hockey and wheelchair curling. Daily highlights from all sports will also be available across the IPC’s digital channels.

In addition to the live streaming, live results, athlete biographies and all the latest news will be available on Paralympic.org throughout the Games.

Craig Spence, IPC Director of Communications said: “For the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games, the IPC website and other digital channels will be providing our most comprehensive and in-depth coverage to date.

“We are delighted to be partnering with the Olympic Channel on this project. Together with TV broadcasters, we will ensure that the Paralympic Winter Games can be watched from anywhere in the world and that the performances of the Para athletes can inspire and excite billions of people.”

The livestream will begin on 9 March with the Opening Ceremony scheduled for 20:00 Korean Standard Time (KST). A detailed schedule of the competitions can be found online.

Certain territories will be geo-blocked but full broadcast details will be available on the IPC website.

Videos on demand will also be available on the IPC website, as well as the IPC’s YouTube Channel. There will be some live streaming on the IPC’s Facebook page.

Athletes in PyeongChang will compete in 80 medal events across six sports: alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, ice hockey, snowboard and wheelchair curling.
