PyeongChang 2018: Olympic Stadium venue guide

The pentagonal-PyeongChang Olympic Stadium is a temporary venue located in the PyeongChang Mountain Cluster that will stage both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies on 9 and 18 March, respectively.

It has a capacity for 35,000 spectators, with seven floors above ground and one underground. Right next to it is the PyeongChang Olympic Plaza, where the medals ceremonies and other cultural events will take place.

The PyeongChang Olympic Stadium also staged the Opening and will host the Closing Ceremonies for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games on 9 and 25 February, respectively.

The Paralympic Winter Games take place in PyeongChang, South Korea from 9-18 March. Tickets can be purchased here.
