Racing in Hyeres will run through to 26 April, with the medal races scheduled for the final day of competition.

The ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyeres begins in on Monday (21 April) and two events for para-athletes will be included on the 12-event programme.

Seventeen racers will take to the start line in the 2.4mR class on the French Riviera, as well as the top six finishers from the sonar fleet at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The Dutch gold-medal winning trio of Udo Hessels, Marcel van de Veen and Mischa Rossen will be there, alongside Paralympic silver medallists Jens Kroker, Siegmund Mainka and Robert Prem from Germany.

Norway’s bronze-medal boat of Aleksander Wang-Hansen, Marie Solberg and Per Eugen Kristiansen will be there, too.

The 2.4mR class fleet includes Great Britain’s Megan Pascoe and Helena Lucas, both of whom have already won World Cup events already this season.
