During the International Ski Federation (FIS) Calendar Conference in Cavtat-Dubrovnik, Croatia, 5-8 June 2013, International Paralympic Committee (IPC) representatives from IPC Alpine Skiing and IPC Nordic Skiing were present as part of the various subcommittees.

Sylvana Mestre, Chair of the IPC Alpine Skiing Sport Technical Committee, and Dimitrije Lazarovski, IPC Snow Sport Senior Manager, met with Sarah Lewis, FIS Secretary General and Steve Podborski, Chairman of the FIS Subcommittee for Skiers with a Disability, where the current agreement and strong relationship between the IPC and FIS was recognised. With cooperation for alpine skiing well established, future initiatives for para-snowboard and nordic skiing were also discussed.

The conference was fruitful and IPC Alpine Skiing held meetings with the organiser for the 2015 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championship that will take place in Panorama, Canada, as well as the Sochi 2014 organising committee and the IPC Academy. IPC Nordic Skiing also met with the Sochi organising committee and the IPC Academy, as well as organisers for the 2013-2014 IPC Nordic Skiing World Cups.
