Great Britain and Russia will battle it out for all three medals in the women’s individual compound open class, as it is British against Russian in both semi-finals.

On Day 6 at the Royal Artillery Barracks, there are three gold medals to claim, as the women’s individual archery comes to an end.

Reigning gold medallist Hwa Sook Lee of the Republic of Korea will be looking for a top place podium finish again, but she will have to go through Monglia’s Javzmaa Byambasuren first.

The other semi-final in the women’s individual standing recurve is between China’s Huilian Yan and Milena Olszewska of Poland.

Lee will be aware of the other three semi-final competitors, as all of them have been impressive in previous rounds.

Great Britain and Russia will battle it out for all three medals in the women’s individual compound open class, as it is British against Russian in both semi-finals.

Current Paralympic champion and competition favourite, Danielle Brown takes on Marina Lyzhnikova and Beijing 2008 bronze medal winner Mel Clarke will go up against Stepanida Artakhinova.

Brown has looked dominant throughout the competition so far after finishing top in the ranking rounds table and powering through her quarter-final match.

Italy are guaranteed at least a one medal in the women’s individual recurve W1/W2 competition, as Veronica Florenzo takes on Zahra Nemati and Elisabetta Mijno will look to see off China’s Jinzhi Li.

Mijno is hoping to be standing on the podium alongside her fellow Italian Florenzo.

She said: “I hope to stand on the podium with her at the medals ceremony.”

Elsewhere, in the men’s team recurve open, four teams look to book their place in the quarter-finals.

Taipei will face a tough challenge in the form of Ukraine and Turkey play off against Malaysia.

All four teams will be looking to perform well, after making up the bottom four of the previous ranking round.
