TVE Scheduled to Air Spanish Paralympic Documentary

Coinciding with the celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Saturday (3 December), TVE has scheduled the premiere of "La Teoría Del Espiralismo,” directed by Mabel Lozano, which follows the lives of five women who are involved in Paralympic Sport at the elite level.

The documentary, translated to mean “Spiral Theory,” will be aired on TVE 2 at 21:00 (CET) on Saturday.

The show features swimmers Sara Carracelas and Teresa Perales, sprinter Eva Ngui, para-cyclist Rachel Acinas and wheelchair basketball player Cristina Campos.

The documentary is produced by New Atlantis in collaboration with the Spanish Paralympic Committee (NPC Spain) and is sponsored by Banesto Cultural Foundation, El Corte Ingles, Groupama and TVE.

Lozano told NPC Spain that the show gives viewers the opportunity to "learn about the work and the magnificent effort of five Paralympians.”
