The 12th edition of the Dream Programme, the annual winter sports festival organised by Gangwon Province is currently underway in PyeongChang and Gangneung, South Korea.

Starting on 25 January until 6 February, more than 170 athletes from 42 countries are taking part in the programme which aims to develop the skills of athletes where winter sports are not prevalent.

Amongst the attendees are 26 participants from seven National Paralympic Committees: Rwanda, Mongolia, Vietnam, Ecuador, Kenya, Hong Kong and South Korea.

Soon after the conclusion of the Dream Programme for 2015, the 12th National Winter Para Games will take place between 9-12 February.

Held at the Alpensia Convention Centre, the Games will host six sports – alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, ice sledge hockey, skating and wheelchair curling – and will feature more than 370 athletes.
