U.S. Wheelchair Basketball Teams Named for Guadalajara 2011 Parapan American Games

USA Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Head Coach David Kiley and his staff have selected the 12 players that will represent the USA at the Guadalajara 2011 Parapan American Games taking place in Mexico from 12-20 November. The team has a strong balance of decorated veterans mixed in with a couple newcomers.

The 2011-12 USA Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team consists of:

For the Men’s team, Head Coach Jim Glatch and his staff have selected 18 representatives for the 2011-12 USA Men's National team. The staff conducted four trials with the successful mission of providing the opportunity for more players to get involved. Twelve of the 18 players will represent the USA in Guadalajara at the Parapan American Games and the 2012 London Paralympic Games. The 18 will train all summer long competing in the Spitfire Tournament in Ontario, Canada and the International Tournament of Champions in Charlotte, NC. The final 12 that will represent USA for the Para Pan American Games will be selected in August.
