Under the slogan “Now Dream, Tomorrow Paralympian!” 56 athletes with impairments and coaches from 10 different countries were invited, including Ecuador, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Rwanda, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

The 11th National Youth Para Games concluded in Chungnam, South Korea, with thousands of young athletes competing in the event from 15-19 May.

The event brought together more than 1,600 youths from 17 cities and provinces around the country to compete across 15 sports, including athletics, badminton, boccia, goalball, table tennis, swimming, wheelchair basketball and sitting volleyball.

First held in 2007, this year’s National Youth Para Games took place at the birthplace of the Para sports in South Korea.
