International Paralympic Day Returns to Berlin
Bonn/Berlin, Germany – Today, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) officially announced that the International Paralympic Day 2009 (IPD) will take place in Berlin on 11 July.

In a series of preconference sessions that preceded the Annual Meeting for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) on 26 May in Seattle, USA, the focus of the third meeting turned to the Paralympic Movement and the strides made therein over the past few years.
Single Classification Approach Drives Committee Meetings
The Sport Science and Classification Committees both met in Bonn, Germany, last week to discuss various topics ranging from VISTA 2011, to the importance of a single approach of classification in the Paralympic Movement.
