OTHER ACTIVITIES
Since his accident in 2013 he has become an advocate for raising awareness of unexploded mines and grenades from World War Two that are still active in Italy. In 2014 he made a speech to the Italian Senate on behalf of the National Association of Civilian Victims of War. "If you do not inform those who did not experience the war, these tragedies will not stop. The issue should be promoted in schools. After the explosion, and the permanent damage that it caused me, I found the determination to become a spokesperson in Italy."
